Instead of competing with each other, the films in Kino Otok’s carefully curated line-up and their authors co-exist harmoniously in the festival’s sections: the traditional Signals, Good Neighbours, 35mm Cult-ure, Friends, Silvan’s Bay, and Video on the Beach, the still fresh Europe 2.0 and Home Sweet Home, and the brand new Chiaro-oscuro (with this year’s subtitle Tyranny of Progress) and Extra-Series (sometimes series are nice to watch with other people).
